With the
Apollo 13 - Water Rocket there is finally a good reason to leave the house on a sunny day to sometimes - to shoot "real" rockets into the air that is making even more fun, as virtual!
The operating principle of the Apollo 13 is quite simple: Using a normal air pump (not included) is in a half-filled water bottle up (preferably in the size 2l) pressure. Once the safety valve water is lost, you take a safety margin of 3-5m, pull hard on the leash and release your water rocket will rise 10-30m to the sky!
Simple but effective - and especially almost any danger: The safety valve prevents namely that too much air is pumped in and the water rocket flies you around the ears. Yet this water rocket system is not a toy.
